Our twelve recommendation we have is “The Optimists”.
Despite their weekly training sessions the volleyball ladies The Optimists (66-98) have not played a match for 30 years. The team is about to have its first match, against a veteran men's team from Sweden. But before all that they have to embroider the tracksuits, find a sponsor, convince the national coach to coach them, memorize the rules they have forgotten, get up in the morning to go running…
Why we recommend it: capacity and strength of seniors, daily life of the pensioners’, accepting challenges leaving the fears aside, active ageing through sports, keeping your hobbies alive.
