Știința confirmed its status as a favorite in front of Universitatea Cluj and wins the match with 3-0. As a result, the team goes up on the 8th place in the general ranking.

The third set was perhaps the most intense one when from 22-24 in favor for Cluj, Știința managed to gain the advantage, save 6 more set points and taking the set and the game at the score of 32-30 with the high support of Robert Țuțea and Codrin Mocanu.

Christian Imhoff (Știința Exploări): "Finally we got again a victory. It was very important for us to get the 3 points. We are happy to have played good and won. We are ready for the play-out and we will try to win as many points as possible. It was a bit hard for me for not having played in an official match for almost 2 months, but step by step I will get back to an optimal level.”

Robert Țuțea (Știința Explorări): "We played against a team with a similar value with us and it is important for us to have won. Unfortunately, it is the second consecutive year when we have big financial problems and I hope that those that need to deal with this problem to manage to solve the situation.”

Marius Botea (main coach Știința Explorări): "Of course for us all the matches are hard, but still we were expecting this victory. The second part of the championship has no stake as no one retrogrades. Yet it is good that the play-out matches are being played and we will take every game serious.”

Știința își confirmă statusul de favorită în fața Universității CLuj și câștigă meciul cu 3-0. Ca și consecință, echipa urcă pe locul 8 în clasamentul general.

Începutul meciului a fost unul echilibrat, avantajul trecând de la o echipă la cealaltă. Al doilea set a fost câștigat lejer de Știința cu un avantaj mare. Al treilea set a fost probabil ce mai intens când de la 22-24 în favoarea celor de la Cluj, Știința reușește să câștige avantajul, să salveze 6 mingi de set și să ia setul șo meciul la scorul de 32-30 cu un sprijin important din partea lui Robert Țuțea și Codrin Mocanu.

Christian Imhoff (Știința Exploări): "În sfârșit am obținut din nou o victorie. Era foarte important pentru noi să obținem trei puncte. Suntem fericiți că am jucat bine și am câștigat. Suntem pregătiți pentru play-out și vom încerca să câștigăm cât mai multe puncte. Mi-a fost un pic greu pentru că nu am jucat într-un meci oficial de aproape două luni, dar pas cu pas voi ajunge din nou la un nivel optim".

Robert Țuțea (Știința Explorări): "Am jucat împotriva unei echipe de valoare apropiată cu a noastră și este important pentru noi că am câștigat. Din păcate, este al doilea an consecutiv în care avem probleme financiare mari și sper ca cei care trebuie să se ocupe de această problemă să reușească să remedieze situația".

Marius Botea (antrenor princ. Știința Explorări): "Sigur că pentru noi toate meciurile sunt grele, dar totuși ne așteptam la această victorie. Partea a doua a campionatului nu are miză, deoarece nu retrogradează nimeni. Dar totuși e bine că se joacă meciurile din play-out și vom trata serios fiecare partidă".
