Traveling to China to practice Kung-Fu is not that easy but being in a fully Chinese-Romanian club is guaranteed!
Here we have Wing Chun club, it is the biggest and the most equipped martial arts hall in Baia Mare with Chinese vibes. With the extensive experience of the coach of the club Elian Micu who started training people from 30 years ago, he started Wing Chun in its new shape in 1997. The club is equipped with all the materials and tools needed to practice the sport such as Wing Chun mannequins, BOB, boxing bags, speed bags, double-end-bag, wall pillows, focus master, etc.
Talking about the age range in the club; it started from 4 years and there is no age limit which always adds a great advantage to the sport. Having an open age limit gives the opportunity and the idea that it’s never too late to start practicing sport, so make sure that the club doors are always gonna be open for you to join! Wing Chun has many categories as follows:
Kung Fu kids (4-6 years old)
Kung Fu kids (7-10 years old)
Kung Fu teenagers (11-14 years old)
Groups for Wing Chun/ Kung Fu (performance team), beginner and advanced
Adults groups who can join any of the available categories in the club.
Wing Chun has a great and a long history with competitions, in 2020, they participated in the National Competition, which was online, and they won 2nd place. The club also participated in the professional competitions Wushu and Wing Chun, and sometimes they get in the race of competing by participating in 5 competitions in the same year! The club has great dreams and specific goals and they are putting their effort to reach them as they started by carving their name.
in the history of the game by having the collaboration with the Chinese Embassy by recording a performance video which has been shared on their official platforms of them and aired on the national television of China, CCTV, you can watch the video here.
