BMUS 2022 - Hajar

This tournament has been huge. I had no expectations before the tournament, but I can say that I am an experience richer.

My role was keeping up with the scores, so the game was my focus. I learned all the ins and outs of the volleyball game. But I learned even more than that. I experienced the behind-the-scenes of organizing such a tournament from setting up the equipment to facing and solving surprises. I had a great responsibility because all the scores needed to be correct. Fulfilling this role gave me more confidence and it taught me how to be more professional. We had a wonderful team. Everyone did their task; this made a difference in how the tournament went. Let’s say the teamwork was working. This tournament also taught me that when you have questions you ASK them.

The sun was burning, that was temporary, but the memories we made are permanent.

For now, all you need to know when watching a Romanian volleyball game is “Schimbaaa”.
