The setter Dragoș Răileanu, the team captain, was declared the best volleyball player from Știința Explorări in 2020.
The 2nd place in this hierarchy is occupied, equally, by Sorin Dragomir (wing-spiker) and Veniamin Aldea (center). On the 3rd place was Andrei Crișan (libero).
Știința Explorări ranked 4th in the ranking of the best teams in the county in 2020, in the ranking compiled by the Maramureș County Directorate for Youth and Sports.
