El juego del pañuelo

El juego del pañuelo or the handkerchief game is a great one to ensure the organizing skills between the kids. In this traditional game we don't need more than a handkerchief or a cloth, and the more participants, the better. The game will reward speed and agility. Being the first to react and knowing how to behave with your partners make this game really exciting.

First we should choose a referee, if the numbers of kids are paired, one adult can participate as referee. Once the teams are organized, they will give some numbers to themselves and they cannot repeat, but if one team has less kids, then they can have more than 1 number.

You draw a line on the ground to divide the field and the kids will separate in two lines at the same distance of the handkerchief. The referee will say a number and the players will run to get the handkerchief. The one who gets the handkerchief will run to his place and the other one will try to chase him in order not to be eliminated.

The game ends when one team has no more numbers/kids.
