Petanque

Pétanque - is a ball sport, whose name comes from the expression "pés tanqués", which means feet together. It would be in 1908 that a certain Jules dis "Le noir" invented "Pétanque" in La Ciotat near Marseille.

The objective in pétanque is to score points by placing the balls closer to the goal than the opponent in relation to the jack.
