Podcast: Petru Vornicu

The 18th episode of the Yellow Shirts podcast is an interview with Petru Vornicu, the event manager of Salicea Beach Tournament.

3 years ago, the first steps for the Salicea Beach Tournament were set. SBT is a beach volleyball competition for amateurs, with no age specific. We just had this year’s edition last weekend, between 6-9 august 2020, where the Global Info Team Association together with the Sun Tropez Pool gathered their strengths despite the current challenges and restrictions, and had the 3rd edition started with 16 male and 8 female teams.

Petru told us about how he started playing volleyball and how he ended up with organising this tournament and its history, the challenges he faced in these 3 editions, his plans for future for the tournament and promotion of beach volleyball.
