The first match on Friday, 20th September was surprisingly won by Știința with 3-0 (29, 22, 20) after an impeccable evolution. The teams played an additional set with the reserves, which as well has been won by Știința with 25-23.
The second match took place Saturday, 21st September, while this time VM Zalău took they revenge, yet with difficulties winning with 2-3 (-17, 18, 23, -12, -9).
